Received the State Teacher
Award instituted by the Government of Kerala in 2011. The Government of India
also awarded National Teachers’ award to Shaju Puthoor in 2015. Receipient of
Seethi Sahib Memorial Award, instituted by the Seethi Sahib Trust in memory of
the former Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly and The Golden Jubilee Award
of Sahrudaya Vedi, a cultural organization based in Thrissur in 2017.
